Admissions

For September 2022, we will be offering 30 Reception places

Reception - Academic year 2022-23

We will be able to offer 30 Reception places for children born between 1 September 2017 and 31 August 2018.

The school admissions policy is in line with the London Borough of Enfield procedures.

Admissions criteria for September 2022 can be found in the 'Applying for a Primary School - Enfield' booklet below.

Reception admissions for September 2022 are now open and all applications need to be completed online at enfield.gov.uk/admissions or http://www.eadmissions.org.uk. The closing date for applications is normally on or around 15th January every year.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are unfortunately unable to facilitate parent tours at the moment.

We will be holding some virtual Q & A sessions as an opportunity for prospective parents to ask questions about the school and the admissions process. Details to follow.

In-Year Applications

If you move into Enfield and require a school place for your child, you need to complete an 'in-year' application form to apply for a place. You will also need to complete this form if you want to request a school transfer for your child. The form can be downloaded below and used to apply for schools both within and outside of Enfield.

This form can only be completed by parents/carers who live in the London Borough of Enfield. If you live outside the London Borough of Enfield, you must contact your own local authority to ask for the relevant application form. You should return the completed form, together with documentation to confirm the child's date of birth to the following address:

Proposal to Reduce the Published Admission Number (PAN) for Delta Primary

Connect Education Trust has reached the decision to consult to reduce the PAN for Reception from 30 to 15. The proposed effective date is from September 2024. This reduction in PAN will not affect the ethos, values and success of Delta Primary but will enhance the provision of education it can provide in a planned way.

Background

Delta Primary opened at the request of Enfield Council to meet a predicted increase in primary pupil numbers in the area.  However, the numbers have failed to meet the predicted increase and the latest figures from Enfield Council show that, after an increase in September 2016, numbers for future years are lower than previously anticipated.

Specific Proposal

The Trust proposes to reduce the PAN from 30 to 15 starting from September 2024. For pupils who already have a place at Delta Primary School in other year groups, there will be no change.

It is important to consider the views of our parents and the wider community.

How to make your views known

The consultation will run from Monday 2nd October - Friday 17th November. Please let us know your thoughts by 17th November either by:
